the difference between chandeliers and lampshades.

July 14, 2009

a lampshade: a decretive hanging light with branches for several light bulbs or candles

a chandelier: a cover for a lamp, used to soften or direct its light

this is an argument i had a few months ago. i am right. everyone else was wrong. end of story.

what the book “Animal Farm” is about.

July 14, 2009

my friend said that the book “Animal Farm” is a symbol of Joseph Stalin and  his taking over of Russia. what I always thought (and knew was correct) was that it is about the movie “Babe” (the talking pig one) just told from the point of view of the platypus. there IS a platypus in the movie, it is just seen very rarely. i am right, i will always be right and thats that. thank you and goodbye.

the truth about cats.

July 13, 2009

cats, like most other animals, will NOT retract their claws if you pet them calmly. they will however, if aggravated by material that they get their claws stuck in, thrash about for a few seconds until freed. the debate is:

in the process of thrashing about, they will manage to harm you or your cloths in some way. the cats think that they are not hurting you in the least, just trying to free themselves from the evil clutches of fabric. i believe that they DO hurt you. and i am right.

proof that im right: the definition of pain: physical suffering or discomfort caused by cats digging their claws into you.

if for any reason you think im NOT right, please leave a comment.

the truth about boathouses

July 13, 2009

boathouse: a boat especially designed to house people, unlike houseboats, they are most often capable of leaving the dock and going to other places. one common misconception is that they are actually houses for boats, when in reality they are just boats with people living on them.
